Ruth Unger is born in Berlin, studied in Dresden, now she lives and works in Leipzig. All materials are taken as they come, idiosyncratically combined and celebrated in their uniqueness and associative potentials.
Ruth Unger paraphrases images of everyday life as enveloping surfaces and explores tensions between the inner and outer worlds. Relics of visual habits emerge, constantly re-answering the question of identity.

One Mask. One Day.
Daily sculpture series, which started with 50 masks on 50 days in 2020 and was continued by another 50 pieces in 2022. This is an excerpt of the ongoing series:
